Newsletter #3. Happy Canada Day!

Just two new ideas to share as we near the end of June:

  1. Prayer Lists:  each week, Rev. Jim shares the prayer list just like he did when we were able to meet in the sanctuary. The list is created as Jim, members of the Pastoral Team, or members and friends of our church family share of a need for focused prayer.  We have distributed these lists to the Dynamic Dozen who are the weekly callers to keep us in touch with one another and church news.  (We do not share the names on Facebook or the webpage with the Sunday Guided Tours to maintain privacy within our church family).
To make it easier for callers and to help all our memories, we are going to send the prayer list out to all those with emails.  You are encouraged to pray for the folks as you are led.

  2. Used Stamp Collection.  Sharon Cooper took on the labour of love from her mother to collect stamps to raise money for The Leprosy Mission.  Now Terry Kish has accepted this project since Sharon passed on.  Are you getting more mail now with the stay at home environment?  Please collect the stamps and pass them along - you can help someone on another continent.

    • Cut the stamp out with a 1/4 inch frame around the stamp

    • Put them in an envelop marked “Terry Kish” and drop in the church’s mail box, or send / drop in home mailbox of Terry at 63 Alexandra Blvd., St. Catharines, ON,L2P 1K2.

thanks
